Double Success in Georgia

My trip to Valdosta last weekend was excellent. Had a wonderful visit with classmates from Valdosta High School Class of 1949 at Ocean Pond where we all enjoyed that club's traditional midday dinner with fried chicken and all the trimmings. Then a really great after-party at the Hart home sponsored by Lilla Kate, Joanne, and Bobbie Ann. Nostalgia reigned.
The book signing for UNANNOUNCED at Valdosta's Books-A-Million was very rewarding. Several classmates and a few relatives came by to talk about books and buy a copy. I told everyone of the upcoming (July) release of my new novel, CONDITIONAL, and we all had a fine time. A special treat was a visit to the book signing by my sister, Gail, from Warm Springs and her friend, Charlie.

It was fun. Always good to see my brothers. Also enjoyed seeing "old" friends and relatives who live in Valdosta and area. Thanks to all who came by Books-A-Million for the signing...and to see George and me!
